Would you like to see if kitesurfing is for you without committing to a multi-day course? Then join our introductory lesson. During this lesson, you'll learn the theory, how the kite and bar work, and you’ll get to control the kite for the first time. You'll experience the power and adrenaline of kitesurfing, and if all goes well, you’ll also try body dragging and maybe even make your first meters.
You start by preparing the complete kitesurfing set. Then follows an explanation of the equipment and the safety system of a kite.
Launching and relaunching the kite safely, exploring the wind window, and experiencing the power of a kite.
Good kite control is key for a solid foundation. You will learn as much as possible about steering the kite and understanding where the kite generates power and where it doesn't.
Focus on control and learn to steer the kite with one hand. This is an important skill for when you later want to use the board.
If kite control is going well and you can keep the kite in the air, there may be time to experience your first meters of body dragging.
You now have the basics of kitesurfing under your belt, and you can easily upgrade to a multi-day course through your account.
Good to know is that all our courses remain valid indefinitely. So what are you waiting for? Book that first lesson!
A lesson takes place with a base wind of at least 12 knots and gusts of up to 30 knots. The wind direction varies by location, but the basic rule is that it must be onshore wind.

Swimwear, surf shoes, and a towel, sunscreen and sunglasses, drinks, and an energy bar. We provide the rest! Wetsuit, harness, helmet, and lycra are all included in the price.
The day before your lesson begins, you will receive a text message and an email confirming whether your lesson is approved or canceled. We make this decision based on wind speed, gusts, direction, and safety.
At our kitesurfing school, you can book lessons 7 days a week. Lessons start at 9:00 AM, 1:30 PM, and 6:00 PM. The kitesurfing season runs from mid-April to the end of October.
Sure! Here's the exact translation: It is good to know that we are always dependent on the weather conditions for your lesson! We will confirm one day in advance whether the lesson can go ahead or not. In principle, lessons are held with wind speeds from 12 knots to 30 knots, but we assess this on a daily basis. Rain showers, waves, and possible thunderstorms also always have an impact! If you want to check in advance whether your lesson might take place, check our Windfinder widget! Assuming your course will take place on the date you selected is possible, but always keep in mind that it might take more days due to the weather and wind. Unfortunately, there is not wind every day in the Netherlands. Sometimes you will need to reschedule your lesson via your account.

Ready set, Go! Reserveer hier direct jouw kitesurfles.
